This is on the slim shady LP. Can someone explain how it is funny? It says that kids should not partake in the listening of this album with laces in their shoes. It's saying kids listen to it if you don't have laces in your shoes. He's trying to get the kids to disobey their parents so they'll listen to the album. Every musicians target audience is the youth so that's why he says that. in future albums he talks a lot of bad stuff about the people who made the parental advisory sticker because that's interfereing with his album sales |

The intro is talking about the music scene. Or the rap scene not sure. Whenever someone says scene in music it's talking about a whole culture. Like say you're part of the punk scene or rap scene. He says you might think you've peeped the scene. You haven't. The real one is far to mean. He's saying that what you see is not what is actually going on. He's saying that it's far worse. Or he could be talking about a transgender not sure. Because the real phrase should be spelled with too not to "the real one is far tOO mean" that's the correct way but he spells it like to mean. He did that on purpose but I don't know why. Then it says. The watered down the one you know. He's saying the stuff that you look at was made up long long ago. Twisted fiction sick addiction not sure what he's talking about there " well gather around children zip it listen" he's saying he knows that this album will most likely end up in the hands of kids even though it's got a parental advisory sticker on it and it for adults only.
