@[tiffany113:22486] It's definitely teaching how to be a heartbreaker and to have defensive relationships, but could it also be that the song is meant as a type of warning and offering of insight? This sort of relationship protects, but also keeps you from feeling deeply and receiving joyously. The writer is probably telling a true story, but not necessarily saying this is how one Should act.
