| The Song is the meaning of moving on and growing up, The First verse means that we are kids and we are playing, enjoying life as it is. The Seconds verse is going through teen and early adult life, you impact many obstacles and move through them and come out on top. The Third verse is late in life, remembering you early life and how much fun it was, but the memories keep slipping away and hiding in the waterfall of life. The Forth verse is death, you foresee the obstacle but you can't push through it, and thats why the stanza had 2 lines instead of 4. | |
