The story really reminds me of Eagles - Lyin' Eyes. In which someone sees the truth in the eyes of its lover, 'because you can't hide your lyin' eyes.' "I know there's something in the wake of your smile, I get a notion from that look in your eyes." That phrase really gets me. Eyes never lie chico. |

Well, she calls me up when she's broken, Says to leave my front door open. I come home to find her smoking, With here eyes all fragile and thin. She's always been hopeless at hoping, Always coped badly with coping, And I never know when she's joking; She never lets anyone in. Mike describes bad characteristics of a woman who needs him at her worst. He remembers she didn't changed much since the last time. I know I'd be a fool to let Her run away with my heart. She'll never tire of this game. Loving her is like playing Catch in the dark. I'm a teardrop in an ocean of flame. He realises loving her is a joke, he thinks he won't be enough to cope with her. And we drink too much for a Wednesday. She'll ask me why none of her men stay. I tell her just what her friends say, But it never goes down too well. She'll stay here till late in the evening, But she's always arriving or leaving. She never decides to believe in The people who know her so well. He plays along with her game, but she only worries about her own and doesn't trust other people to be with her. I think the woman in this story is using the man to solve her problems which she has made over and over again. |

| Vangelis – Conquest Of Paradise (1492) Lyrics | 9 years ago |

In noreni per ipe - in the night afoot In noreni cora - in the night found Tira mine per ito - many mines thereabouts Ne nomina - for them they dominate These are the translations is found on the internet, Pseudo-Latin is the language called. No idea what that means but the English translation is quite interesting. Maybe the lyrics is about the pirates in clip, about how they prepare for the night. About how they feel about what's coming up. |
