Personally I think this song is about LSD. The strange brew is the reference to the strange effects LSD produces and "killing whats inside of you" definitely a reference to Ego loss the dissolution of the peronal identity. Another part that strikes me as a reference to the drug is the part "She's some kind of demon messing in the glue. If you don't watch out it'll stick to you. To you. What kind of fool are you?" Basically a warning. If you dont know what your getting yourself into and practice caution, LSD can fuck you up. Which Im sure happened pretty often in a time where seriously powerful acid was floating around on the streets like candy. |

I personally think this song is about feeling trapped in a depression or a rough time in your life when things are grim and very lonely. Perhaps the "throw away the only one" is a reference to suicide but also a sobering reminder that this is the only life you get. |
