This song is so heartbreaking! Definitely not one you listen to just because! I listened to it a lot recently as I've been going through a breakup and I really felt like it expressed how I was feeling... This song to me is an expression of recognising that someone doesn't really deserve your love or they don't love you but you desperately love them. They're everything you want when you're nothing to them. It's an expressive and beautiful song! |

This song is beautiful...I think it's all about Christmas not being Christmas without the person you really love. He's singing about someone he's lost and he's wishing she could be part of his Christmas ('maybe they'll bring her back to me'). I think this song is nostalgic and looks back with longing but it's also hopeful o her being with him again. My boyfriend broke up with me a while ago, and I miss him a lot. Christmas isn't going to be the same for me and something inside still longs for him. I guess this song resonates a lot with me at the moment... memories and hope. |
