I like that these lyrics are vague enough to be interpreted as either something sexual or romantic metaphors. I personally like to think it's the latter. "I didn't know that I was starving 'til I tasted you" could be interpreted sexually, but I think it basically means that she didn't realize how much she wanted this person in her life until she started getting to know them. This is backed up by the lyric "the more that I know you, the more I want to." |
