| If I were to pick it apart in a more literal sense by my own speculation, I'd say he is distraught and in pain because he can't connect with someone or they're dead. They also could be an addict taken under by the drug and the only way they can connect again is to break through the razor wire (pain) and collect the wire (connection to him). To writhe is to be uncomfortable or contorted. There is much pain in breaking through an addiction but if you writhe to the end, you can finally connect to your loved ones. | |
