I think this song its truly, utterly, beautiful. I think that it tells us a story about two lovers, but one is more about the sex and the other just wants to feel loved. Im going to over analyze this im sorry: "Don't get any big ideas They're not gonna happen" This could translate to: dont think of any big ideas (such as marriage, having a family, etc) becuase it wont happen. "You paint yourself white And fill up with noise" I think white is the colour of emptiness. This person feels so empty inside and they fill up their empty body with the words they want to say to the other lover but dont have the courage to. "There'll be something missing And now that you found it It's gone Now you feel it you don't You've gone off the rails" Not entirely sure about this part but you will always have that one thing missing, love. And even though you have someone you supposedly call your "lover" the real love is gone. You dont feel the love you once did. "You'll go to Hell For what your Dirty mind is thinking" This basically speaks for itself but now they look at the one using them and think all of this dirty stuff you are doing to me will bring you to hell, and thats when ill be satisfied. |
