@[bassmastajay:24372] This song in its entirety was solely written by James. Everything; guitar, bass ... the concept. He wanted everyone in the band to keep focusing on speed and aggression. The song is about doing everything fast because you know once you get into music business you don't have a minute for yourself. I don't believe it's about drug 'cause i know James never did any drugs. Other than drinking to the fullest he's always wanted to keep his voice clean.
Also James was and still is into fast cars, competition, Nascar, drag racing ... which bring you to the video of FUEL. Dats All Folks. BBBye SSSee ya |

I believe Ozzy had a girlfriend and she was pretty much the one in his heart. When Sab's gotten really popular ('roud '71-'72), Ozzy has found a new love in drugs (perhaps cocaine or something) so much he couldn't let go.His girlfriend was not #1 in his heart anymore. Their relationship suffered because of that love of amphetamines. At the end, he decided to tell his girlfriend "we have to part ways". |
