im so lost. not in the lyrics. but the fact that all the comments are related to Soak The Sin but the lyrics on this page are for Change. Maynard has a beautiful way of writing and this song couldn't be a more clear example of his talents in doing so.. When I hear this song i think it is about how man kind over millions of years have always wanted to conquer land and call it there own. "To conquer every mountain shown But I've never crossed the river" People have been fighting to take what they want and we haven't learned peace and equality. This song in my opinion talks about how we have taken everything but haven't crossed the river to reach peace. The other side of the river represents peace. |
