| U2 – A Sort Of Homecoming Lyrics

I had to pull over on a highway in Ohio when the radio played one of my all time favorite songs, U2's "A Sort Of Homecoming" (The version from Wide Awake In America is the best....period.) Several days and several states away from my family. I am usually bullet-proof from the radio and media's offerings This one got me 2 days after the diagnosis of my 14 year old daughter with cancer. All songs are now suspect.....potential for heartbreak. Like the re-assessment of love songs after a break-up. On a side note:....I thought it was impossible to stay in a bad mood listening to T-REX, but I managed recently. Any suggestions for feel good music ? |
