I think that this song is about a person trying to be a Christian in a church full of fake christians who pretend on Sundays but stab you in the back on the other days. And this person feels like they're just an animal following everything they do but none of it's real. "We were born sick." Like we were born sinners, which people like to use as an excuse. He feels like worshipping is like a game because no one is true to their actions. |

This song is about people who refuse to hear anything other then what they believe in. They hear what you say only to push it aside later. People hear but don't listen. People only hear to give their own opinions. And there is a Christian who is trying to help show them the way and the christians words fall into the silence because one out of so many people who worship False Gods can barley make a dent. And sadly he knows that evil spreads like cancer which these people are blind to. |

This is sort of a memory, but when I was younger I remember seeing the music video, and it always made me think it was about the person you love dying. But now I realize that the person you love doesn't have to literally die hence the "watching you walk away." I feel like this song is about a girl or guy dying inside when the person that they love leaves. Like you had so much to say to them, but in the end it didn't matter because they walked away and now it's like you're numb and you just want them to know you love them. |
