To me, the lyrics sound kind of like somebody going through their thoughts and trying to cope with feeling guilty for cheating (or having an itch to do that), possibly while being in an unsatisfying relationship and wanting to get out of it. ("It's not the worst crime...", + the whole chorus) Not claiming that this is in any way what the song is written about though. Just a thought I had. |
