He is trying to show interest or mayby put things right with a girl he likes romantically, so he write her a letter. She keeps refusing to read it, just returns it to sender, and so he keeps on sending it. Even when he deliver it personally, she just gives him a cold shoulder, and returns it wo a second glance. Actually after sleeping on this, I think the song is about how he hates his ritch friend & his society, the betrayals and games they play. In the song tomorrow he tries to show his father ritch "friend" both the magic and beauty of a life wo money. Cos he is a son of Israel, he is a Christian. The pleasure and joys of a day at the beach surfing in the waves. And how hard an easy task like getting water can be in Australia, things he take for granted. I think this is just a kid ranting over betrayal. Someone close to him, in his family or perhaps his neighbour or community clearly deliberatly sabotaged him through lies and deceit, a Judas act, as he describes himself as Israels son. Seems to me this act is comparable to holocaust, probably his hole family and community turned against him. I'm wondering if it could be the fat ritch boy from the famous Tomorrow song that ruined his chances with the hot ritch girl he wanted to take to the beatch for a day out. As for revenge he rants about killing him and his no good looser friends, but at the end of the song he really says he wants these persons to surrender, admit their evil lies and probably go to jail where they belong. Fuckers. |
