I don't think it is just a coincidence that Black Dog (Zeppelin) and Black Cow (Steely Dan) are talking about the same type of woman. It is lead off song, respectively of Zeppelin's best album and Steely Dan's best album. Study the lyrics of each and see if you don't see a connection. |

I had heard that this was part of their Lighthouse Project in the early 70's when disco wasn't even invented yet. Did they change the words? |
