Seems like Jesse chose to speak of his constant battle with depression ("my soul is weak"). some lines describe being hopeless and with inner struggle, however you can tell as others have said that he chose to speak as optimist. He write that it's difficult to cop with life, there's "trails" and "walls" that closing on you. But bottom line, and that is somthing that you can feel throughout the album (for exmaple: strength of the mind), His massage is look for inner strength. Take this powerful bridge, "suffer - leads to determination Trials- givs us stregnth Desire feeds the will to live" The chorus - "see the world through different eyes" what i see here is the will to find inner strength to stand against depression so that "shadows will give way to life" And since he recognize that it's a constant struggle - "in due time" meaning when you will find strength to stand against your demons you will "see the world through different eyes". |
