@[TheGivingTree:16330] Actually I think you're right. I also thought the song to be about people trying to become what they see on the media, but in fact this song is about performers in the media losing who they are and instead sculpting themselves into what the general public want them to become. All the verses in the song now make a lot more sense when you think of it through that perspective. They all scream California because that is where many artists want to end up. However, the industry isnt stable, thus "toppling". I am almost positive that the message is about he artists now. Great observation! |
