@[SoakedinMercury:16205] The Highwayman didn't kill himself. The Redcoats caught up to him and killed him on the highway. The poem says, "When they shot him down in the highway/ Down like a dog on the highway/ And he lay in his blood in the highway/ With a bunch of lace at his throat" in the thirteenth stanza. |
