In a relationship where the other person is withdrawing and it is unclear, that person shuts down, lack of communication, and it’s heading for an ending. Hearts full of snow representing the coldness and the sadness that comes with it is so contagious When producing Secret Codes, Darren spoke about the importance of not letting go and not breaking up and holding on to love; that was a theme. So the fightback occurs within the song: "Let me take the wrong then make it right. There are lots of pledges in the song that start with “let me”. It may be "ending ... but it is ending before I begin" And I am here to try and make it right. "let me" And there is reassurance “It never lasts. This suffering.Only joy remains.” Looking on the brighter side of things, most importantly … love. There is so much more that can be said about this song, I've only touched on it lighting, and it's my general opinion. |
