To my mind it's a really critical outside analysis of someone with depression, by someone who probably hasn't had depression themselves. Ironically this just makes the person even more depressed rather than actually helping them. Still a beautiful song musically though. I particularly love the part in the middle where its just the bass riff and the guitar volume swells. |
