This is one of Billy's least cryptic songs, I'm really surprised nobody has woked it out. There's very little ambiguity in these lyrics by Corgan's standards. '...shine in your spit', '...disconnect the dots', 'I give it all back to you.' It's about his parents and dealing with the emotions of embracing individuality. I remember hearing or reading about this as revealed by Corgan, but for reasons manifold all of my memories are suspect. Either way, there's no doubt in my mind that this explanation is correct. |
