Considering he came out as gay last year, I thought about the possibility that this song is about being gay and dealing with the weight of that. "Happy" is another meaning for gay. Also when he says "It's funny, being funny makes you feel like up and running". Sometimes "funny" is used as a discreet way to call someone gay. I also wanted to point out that I'm pretty sure it's "I could live with so many burdens", "I know that it's always something", "It's an outrage, it's an outrage, we don't stand a chance" |
