| @[d9s9123:15413] I like your meaning, since I suffer from much of the same things, but the way I took this is that the man the song is about is almost running from a "prison". It almost seems he is compairing his mind to someone who is falsy accused of a crime, much like the persicution of people who have depression, since a lot of attention hungry people claim they suffer from it. Like it the part where he says "Cold nights under siege from accusations" is referring to how whenever he brings it up, people always accuses him of being false, which in turn brings the chorus, explaining how he doesn't bring it up, but still wants to keep those close to him knowing about it so they can help it.
