| @[marth1080:15200] 5 years later i can tell you that. the character this is written about is a paranoid schizophrenic, so alot of this becomes alot more intense, not just the average ups and downs of life or the sense of meaningless depression gives to someone that suffers. that would definitely make the marbles on glass part make more sense, seeing as in the games, and comic, he carrys a large storage cube on his back and talks back a forth with it without his medication. this song is all about his self doubt, existentialism and nihilism that is inherently in his mind, and also given new birth, since the future of the freedom of the human race is basically in his hands. the only reason he has this struggle with right and wrong, and finding the power inside himself to achieve this goal, is because of his paranoid delusions changing how he behaved before everything went too shit and everyone he cared about was murdered by a gigantic sentient A.I. | |
