Same with other comments, I believe this song is about using drugs and breaking a promise. I like how "you bring pain cause you got game" perfectly describes and complements the drug, but for the ones who think this is a gloomy break up song I think that perfectly says: the girls who got "game", have style, are harder to handle kinda thing. lets stick to the drug side of the song tho "Peaches living in niches, digging the scene like beautiful cliches, FROM THESE shapes of a gangster lean, ignoring wars on gasoline" this part talks about the people with shallow "beautiful lives" who stick to cliches, no out of box shit, no critical thinking, ignoring the real world (wars on gasoline) and just thinking about their car and style (gangsta lean) He also describes his lifestyle a lil bit with on point phrases which matches the tone of the song perfectly, he comes from the background of jamming with friends (Marshal amps into broken homes) as a teenager and having to deal with borstal (shitty experience) and everything... I think classic chicks might refer to the fact that those days are gone and its been a while... and soothing all the pain with a glass of beer and the last part talks about ordinary people sticking to cliches while his sex life is just doing drugs and fucking all night (till the last bell rings refers to church) and then dealing with the "aftery" s P.S: English is my second language and I am always the reader on these websites, not the one writing comments... but this song has changed my life... so I wanted to share what I think about it. Hope my interpretations aint too off |
