| I like to think the lyrics are almost literal, written through the perspective of an astronaut that for being for so long in outer space, starts allucinating about a girl in a velvet dress and then falls in love with her. The chorus for example is a metaphor that mixes the idea of a real astronaut in outer space and his feelings, comparing them to elements of the universe. | |
