This song is about embracing the feeling of love and letting yourself let loose and losing yourself every once in a while. The beginning really shows the song’s main viewpoint on love, saying “I’ve been in love with love”, portraying that the person singing has been in love before and loves or is in love with the feeling. The next line says "something binding us together", really insinuating that love brings people together into a tight bond. The song uses many metaphors, such as in the line "love is strong enough". Love doesn't really have any strength to it, at least not in the physical sense, but it is saying that love is powerful and effective enough to overall bring people together. In the song, it also refers to that love is a "systematic drug", implying that in a way it is addictive, but is a common and basic reaction.
