| Armor for Sleep – Slip Like Space Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This song is actually about Jersey...Jersey is actually the state with the most amount of Diners and not to mention our roads are the only roads in the U.S. paved with glass in the pavement mixture; which makes it shiny at night when you're driving down a dark highway...causing that 'milky way' effect. Correct lyrics: "Watch me point to the sky You'll laugh and say I'll never fly I'll smile as you walk away I always knew I couldn't stay Full throttle now The milky way can't wait Full throttle now The milky way can't wait Diners turn into space ports And I rocket past the moon Say your goodbyes now I'll be in the wormhole soon This planet wasn't made for me All of you live so easy I lay outside and up I stare My home is in the void up there Full throttle now The milky way can't wait Full throttle now The milky way can't wait Diners turn into space ports And I rocket past the moon Say your goodbyes now I'll be in the wormhole soon Approach light speed And break apart I don't care now Nothing's real somehow Approach light speed And break apart I don't care now Nothing's real somehow Diners turn into space ports And I rocket past the moon Say your goodbyes now I'll be in the wormhole soon" |

| Bouncing Souls – Quick Chek Girl Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Typical Jersey stuff...I don't understand why everyone likes this song so much. It's not even about boy meets girl, it's mainly their way of romanticizing Jersey. | |
| Thursday – A0001 Lyrics | 20 years ago |

All right, A0001 and I1100 are directly linked with the title of the album, "Full Collapse". See the whole concept of the album is based on the big bang theory...the whole starting from nothing to a huge bang, back to nothing again and starting over again. Full Collapse in general was meant to be played on repeat, so that you can get the full effect. That's why the album starts off slow, reaches a zenith, and comes back down to i1100. Listen to the album on repeat and you'll realize how this occurs...it's sort of the big bang theory but in musical form. |

| Thursday – Standing On The Edge Of Summer Lyrics | 23 years ago |

Maybe this could help you guys out. When I went to see them at Irving Plaza in NYC for a benefit they were having for Sean McGrath...Geoff told the audience something similar to, "this song's about feeling like you're the smallest thing in the world on those boring Jersey summer nights..." |

| Thursday – Porcelain Lyrics | 23 years ago |
| I remember back in 2000 when I heard this song...I was blown away. Thursday is definately a band I love, and a band that makes me glad I'm from Jersey. It was Thursday that opened my eyes to symbolism and different ways of thinking. I feel Thursday holds so much truth and feeling in their lyrics, I was never really able to relate to this song until recently, when a dear friend of mine unfortunately took his life away. And I feel that like "the crack in the porcelain" any small crack in someone's life can shatter them. | |
