@[zoolah:15008] 100% agreed. It's so haunting at the end. The second chorus is especially haunting[that's the part that usually gets to me]. In the first Chorus, what's bad{We'll Fix it}, What's wrong{We'll make it all right} It's lost{We'll Find it} Takes So Long{ We've Got Time}. It's comforting to hear that someone is always with you to fix what ever ails you. It starts so optimistic. The second chorus gives no such assurances, What's Bad?[No Answer} What's wrong?[no answer] {You} make it all right, alright {Basically, handle it yourself}. It's gone so long{Not Found}. They way she wrote it makes it seem like by the second verse you're abandoned by someone who'd promised to always be there for you. She may not have meant to give the song that kind of feeling, but with the slowed tempo and the achy way she sings it certainly gives me that sensation. It's just sad. I LOVE this song! |
