It's not about zombies or killer babies or cannibals. It's simply about a guy who keeps his mentally unbalanced brother in the attic locked away so they don't have to deal with him. They don't put him in an asylum because of the embarrassment it would mean for the family. The song doesn't say if Formerly has dementia or is just crazy or what. Formerly's brother suffers from split personality disorder or something of that ilk, hence Enough's Enough and No Man's Land on the same LP. The Lyrics tell the story, not necessarily in chronological order. |
