You will never know the psychopath sitting next to you you will never know the murderer sitting next to you. Not loving. |

I think that this song is very much a religious song. This is assuming that the " miss believer" is a misbeliever, but here it goes. Tyler, being Christian, would believe that God is always there even in the most desperate of times. However, if you don't believe then he's not real to you all of your struggles are much harder to deal with especially suicide in Tyler's case. By taking God out of your life you're putting snow on an already dangerous road which is life. Tyler will tell the misbeliever that he loves them but their fears will not be taken care of by that alone. However, no matter what you believe Tyler saying that he'll walk with you. |

@[FabulousFangirl:14885] be careful about using the word "definitely". Tyler is a Christian and by being Christian that means he incorporated God into his life. |

@[Keeson:14884] one more thing that I think is important to note is that it seems like Tyler is not faulting God so much as he is imploring him. He knows where God is but he can't seem to find him. He is asking God to come to him so he can know him better and even just say hello. I feel like Tyler is being very picky with words and leaving the door open to say something like this: God is there and maybe he's trying to help Tyler find a way through the trees, he CAN see him after all. But maybe gods working in a different way than what Tyler is looking for at the moment. |

@[Sodunwithyou:14883] I think that you have a lot of good thoughts but you're slightly misdirected. I'm pretty sure Tyler does not want to end up in hell so when he says "You're the judge..." He's talking about God; he's saying that his is the judge and he can set him free from damnation even though Tyler's soul is freezing. I also think that the first verse could be pointing toward the fact that we in society label people and generally don't let them out of their labels without some sort of criticism. Albeit it's more likely about how he's the bad guy for wanting to destroy himself. He also asking for a release from his pain/suicidal thoughts. Just a few of my thoughts. |

@[Ninjachibi117:14880] @[Ninjachibi117:14880] well Tyler is a Christian so it goes without says my that he believes God is what saves us from death. However, that does not exclude the fact that this s By could be about depression as well. I'm pretty sure it is. However, many of the twenty one pilots song a incorporate God in them fairly explicitly and I do think that this song parallels many Christian aspects. So I'm going to have to disagree with the notion that this has nothing to do with religion. For Christians religion is a way of life and it is experienced in every instance so it would make sense for him to incorporate it here. Addict with a Pen, implicit demand for proof, doubt, Holdikg on to you, Trees, Oh ms believer, A car a death a torch, isle of flightless birds, heavydirtysoul, and the judge all have God in them. Also the main point of Christianity is that Jesus died to forgive our sins: to wash away our blood. Just my thoughts |
