| I read all the comments before me, I enjoyed all of them. My understanding of this song is a little different though. I think saying truly goodbye to someone means stop all the desires that make you weak in the relationship with that person. If that person is hurting you, being confident that you never leave, now you destroy all of her/his confidence. Basically by saying goodbye to her love, you show your greatest power, now she has a choice to change or to lose you forever. I have seen this before, sometimes your lover needs to realize that she has lost you, before understanding your value and your worth. Love seems a selfless act, but the truth is most of the time lovers act selfishly, abusively and hurt each other more than heal each other. So even in love, there is a battle, just like the game of chess, but when you stop playing the chess, your player is out of game, it is the moment of the truth, loving you selflessly or you are gone. He is one of the players, but he does not play to earn money nor respect, he plays to learn, to learn about the sacred secret of probability, the reason why we win or lose, the reason why some probability happens over others. He knows there is a reason behind probability, inside of this randomness there is a solid rule, a rule which defines luck. This is not about the game of poker, this is about the game of life, most people live for money or to feed their ego ( respect, power and ...), but this man realizes that there is something more important than this, that there is a secret hidden in the ordinary life and obvious randomness. This man wears only one mask, meaning that he has no mask, he has one face, he is honest and he is searching for one thing, the answer. He may get diamond, he may get a king, he may get a sward or he may get a heart, but no matter what he gets, it does not make a difference for him, because he is not seeking for money, for the power or for the kind of love people are searching for. Meaning that although he is searching for a kind of love, but this love that people get is not the shape of his love. ( that is not the shape of my heart). The love he is searching for is a kind of intuition, this is not a love that can be dealt with cards. This Music has something in common with "Frozen" from Madonna, both describes the sacred intuition into reality, both talks about the power of learning, observing and not getting consumed by earning or losing. I believe this is the path, a path that who goes are silent and maybe there is a reason for being silent. (But those who speak know nothing, And find out to their cost) Maybe you, yourself in your life, something felt that there is something you can describe ongoing in life, but you could not learn about it more, maybe because religion, nor science, can not really explain what it is. maybe there are people who know what it is, but they are silent.
