Charlie Scenes verse is essentially the revenge being exacted "dagger cut jaggedly" "better run from these guns and crossbows" I'll just wait here to swallow your soul and tear you apart" The last non repeated verse reflects on the damage done. "When the ashes start to rise, and the moon falls from the sky" When the Angels softly cry, on the flames below the sky, would a thousand souls still pray for you and I?" This is basically asking if the world can have sympathy for them. A world that ignores, neglects, and abuses them because they can't do anything about it, but when they do rise up and rebel, causing trouble, the world makes THEM into the villains and condemns them. The answer to the question is no, the world doesn't care and doesn't understand. |

J3T's verse: "We come from a world of oblivion bad dreams" hinting at growing up poor and possibly abused "I'm not really bad I'm just made up of bad things, I'm really not a madman the voices keep asking" meaning he was a good person corrupted by abuse, schizophrenia (voices) and drugs. "I ask and give none, nope, no forgiveness It's the day of the dead and you're on our hit list. So come all you misfits, bitch you're on our hit list!" This is talking about how he won't forgive the people and things that corrupted him and he's out for revenge, along with the rest of the undead army. |

This is a brilliant song. The chorus is urging the "Holy Ghost" to restrain them from committing crimes, running rampant etc. but then urges it to leave "better run, here we come, it's the day of the dead" meaning evil has won the war in their heads and they're going to raise hell |
