I see a dozen or more thoughts; some connected to each other, some not. Its not a single story but it is a series of statements. There is no train of thought. CARO sings as always; perfect. But I can't follow her on this song. The song, so well sung. But there is no way to connect the dozen or so sentences. SO THE SONG MAKES NO SENSE despite her wonderful voice and the well conducted orchestra. She has superior ability to construct the delivery. It is only by the selection of the words that the song will never be a hit. The words keep it from being a hit. Change the words ; have a hit. But she sings so well. Love what you do Caro Nelson |
