Dizzy Mizz Lizzy – Silverflame Lyrics 9 years ago

I agree about the meaning of "silverflame", but I think you misunderstood some part of the lyrics. This is my personal opinion and maybe I'm wrong, but I just see it differently.

First of all: "Girl in a glassbox dressed in white, Happy enough to commit suicide", it could be a personification of drug, but, beacuse of lyrics before and after this line, I would rather say that it is referring to a person(maybe real, maybe imaginary...). "Girl in a glassbox"-->By this, he is describing some girl who lives in her own world and "Dressed in white" means she is good/innocent person. This kind of people are often bullied from other people and don't know how to deal with it, and obviously this girl too, so she starts taking drugs, and now she is "Happy enough" to commit suicide.
"She said that silver's meant to burn forever"-->This line shows how sad actually she is, she wants to feel like this forever, just not to feel pain.

As I said, it could be just a personification of drug, but because of this line:
"Sleeping forever in a bubble of blue", I think it's not. This line actually explains the very first line of the song: "Sorrow hides under the water", now we see why it hides under the watter-->Because girl killed herself by drowning.

The chorus:
"Say my name silverflame take control
Of my heart of my mind and of my soul"
-->Shows us that now, he is sad because girl drowned herself, and now he is taking drugs too. And by this line:
"What a shame silverflame that you can't burn forever"-->He is saying like:"I just don't want to feel this pain".

Since Tim Christensen said once that this song had no meaning to him, i suppose that he is not talking about real girl who commited suicide, but some imaginary girl. I suppose that he was just inspired with how absurd people sometimes function, because, this case can sometimes be seen in the world.

We can't know what he realy wanted to say, and as I said earlier, maybe I'm wrong, but this is how I see this song.
