this song goes along the same side as flesh into gear in which it tells the story of the people's actual flight from Hellview, into Carver City, where that entire album takes place with the same characters and all. this story this song tells is about the survivors of 96 quite bitter beings. it melds perfectly into the opening of Carver City, Helions on Parade |

i believe that this song tell the story of someone finding the meaning to their life, not just by working but by "Setting his flesh into gear" and getting it done, no matter what his inner demons tell him or what his insecurities say. it is a build up to the album Carver City and continues with the theme of the song Escape From Hellview. |

i think this song is about person who've spent his entire life in the second too best, and he has found peace with it. letting the others take the lead because that's how he finds happiness in his life in the city of Hellview, where this entire album takes place. it is a surprisingly deep song and goes along perfectly with the albums theme. |

this is a deeply political song, i believe its about a fictional third world war and the effect it has on the main character of the song who sings about his flight from the newly war torn city and nation, saying that all nations can hear the screams but they fail to do anything. |

my personal thoughts on this song reflect that of today's youth, how we stand resilient and just simply live our lives. it reflects our golden days in ways that are unique for each person. other may disagree, but I've always felt that music is really the universal language for mankind and can be interpreted any way. |
