@[darrin1015:13647] - I'm thinking religion too but this whole story plays out as characters they the writer is describing and how he is affected absorbing the essence of the beliefs himself and there's folklore and all kinds of references to pretty interesting philosophy It opens with a witch who lives her life by Wicca There's a lady who's sure All that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven. Wicca believe your soul can travel to Summerland aka the golden age - heaven When she gets there she knows If the stores are all closed With a word she can get what she came for. Ooh ooh and she's buying a stairway to heaven. Basically their afterlife can have no options - stores are close heaven and hell! - but even an atheist soul still floats between both afterlives and is then reincarnated! - so you get another chance to enter the afterlife that way reincarnation is a word you can get what from came for to get to heaven! - sign on the wall is the scripture which any religion tells how to live like the 10 commandments - she follows to make sure she gets to heaven cause a word with 2 meanings is death - heaven or hell! There's a sign on the wall But she wants to be sure 'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings. In a tree by the brook There's a songbird who sings, Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven. I play a game that uses music for secret game places basically and I write, I write a lot and have for years and I can work out lyrics cause I'm awesome and I love looking at these things first to see what others think cause I'm not always familiar with although the song is a music classic - this is the second one I've tried to encode and it looked like a challenge cause the first song I tried and there had literally been 1000's of people having their idea and I even read what the band members said and everyone was debating different things - the song Hotel California - the time it took to decode 1o minutes! haha! And I was just posted the first bit but it was right and anyone reading it understood I'd nailed it and I think others finished it knowing I broken the story in the song.... Lots of spiritual based theories I've noticed but I will admit I haven't finished it but you see I've nailed it as well, unlike Hotel California which was one person story of a heroin addiction they were fighting and giving into every now and then and telling how they scored - getting high on heroin felt like staying at a 5 star hotel in Beverly Hills - Welcome to the Hotel California - smashed it! 30 years and I took 10 minutes and the band said it was about relationships and how LA was so different to them from were they come from and an experience of that - no thinking of heroin - going to a drug house - getting a hit the myth was broken - this song is pretty cool and they did an awesome job so in my next post I'll explain what I've deciphered so far! |
