From my perspective it's obviously loving being on your own and realizing you don't need a partner in your life in order to be a succesful person. Because people have this thing in their minds that they need to be in a relationship and I see many people pushing themselves into one because they think it's bad to be single. But from my point of view being on your own is one of the greatest things in life. You get to figure out yourself, you get to do what you want, there is absolute freedom and no one can do anything about that. You can read books, you can prepare for your exams, you can work out and nobody can say about that. This song is about being independent and loving that. You don't need a partner in your life in order to be succesful. You only need you! That's how I see this song. |
