| I really relate to this song because I think this son is about loving someone and doing everything you can for them even if it hurts. "I'll do my best to teach you how to fly" I feel like this is saying I'll help you as much as I can. "Please don't cry or say goodbye" I think this is talking about how the person is upset about maybe a recent break up and the person that is the narrator in the song is trying to cheer them up and they don't want them to leave. "I'll love you till the day I die. Every night if that's alright" it's saying yeah I know you know I like you more than just a friend and I'll think about you every night is that alright that I love you even though you don't love me that way. "do you know who I am? Do you know just what to do?" It's saying do you know who I am and how much I care and how are you going to handle me loving you. "Is it fair to love me too" after so long I have love you and all I've done it's only fair that you should love me too. "I'll kiss you through a hazmat suit, that's what I'll do if I have to." It's saying that I know our toxic to me but I'll do what ever I have to be with you. That is what I believe this song is about and it is truly beautiful and it speaks to me. | |
