I felt a different meaning behind this song. My interpretation is more of he has realized there is no true or real happiness. The world is plagued by despair. People go around acting and pretending they are all happy, but in reality it's all a facade and no one is truly happy. These liars and hypocrites are the ones going around everywhere you see acting as if they were happy so others see them as such, or as to convince themselves they are. I know it's a darker interpretation but every time I hear this somg, that is the way I fell, and the meaning I get behind it. That being said, I love it. |
