Years after failed relationship (s) being able to reflect in a healthy and detached place... The line "Well, I never saw it coming I should have started running A long, long time ago! And I never thought I'd doubt you I'm better off without you More than you, more than you know" is SO prophetic. Why this is so difficult at the seems all but a foreign concept to me now, being in a happy and healthy relationship finally in my 40's, but I truly believe I was addicted to my own drama of sorts. If ever I could share one bit of advice (though when it comes to relationships, I am NOT the one to run to) it would be this: If at any point you feel the need to walk away; RUN. FAST. FAR. RUN. THEN RUN FASTER AND FARTHER. The 30, 40, 50 plus year old you will thank you!! |
