'There ain't no jesus gonna come from the sky. Now that, I found out, I know I can cry'.
We are taught ideas from a young age. It takes life experience and exposure to other ideas and facts to shake some of the falsehoods off. It's disappointing in a way (to Lennon) to find out Jesus isn't going to help any, after being taught about rewards and justice and faith. It's also possible that he meant he found out that jesus isn't real, and now he can cry out to people, he discovered the truth, saying the next (tag) line, "I found out!' |

@[underoath_55:12234] Not on Paul personally, but the devotion to other celebrities held in high esteem in society, who are just as flawed as any of us. Just happened to be Paul as as example, that was a reference easily made and known by Lennon, and something we could all get in the Western world. |
