yeah if you've only heard the demo then your definitely missing out. The studio version is absolutely perfect, and yeah I'm sure this is related to drug use ya know "always punching the needle in her arm"...heroin like usual.

There is a studio version of this song phenomenal to say the least there is also video of them recording it in the studio in there home videos collection you can find on youtube. This song is about bein a fag really nothin else to it theres no subliminal meaning to it, and no not about heroin this was written years before laynes drug abuse surfaced into the sickness that killed him. This is sarcastic but I've always had this humorous interpretation that this was about contemplating suicide while spending the day shopping for clothes "try on this tie" or also "in a black tie and straight jacket man I'm gonna try again'' first ensemble didn't work lets keep looking haha i know this is entirely inaccurate and most of the other lines wont fit to concur with the theory. just for comic relief I suppose. |
