Very astute analysis. Control and subjugation necessary for BPD person to feel secure makes life miserable for their partner, particularly if they are unaware of the disorder’s manifestations. Constant testing of loyalty despite poor behavior is needed to ward off feelings of abandonment. Still a catch tune though!

Bette shows her amazing vocal range as the tempo builds from a slow shy piano croon to a full throated crescendo of urgent need carried by what seems to be a full orchestra. A classic star making rendition that everyone should enjoy. |
