I know that this song wasn't written about eating disorders, but that's what this song is to me. When I'm struggling and about to give in to the disorder, just that smallest little spark will keep me going. Depending on what stage of the disorder I'm in. If it's while I'm fasting and I'm about to give up, when I see the number on the scale drop - that's my spark. It keeps me going. But if I'm trying to recover - it pushes me into recovery. Coz most of my brain is taken over by Anorexia that the small part of me that knows I need to recover, that's my spark then. |
