I think that he is talking about doubting his faith in God. He is religious, and as a Christian I understand that we all have our doubts. We will become like any other atheist wondering why we would believe. But we all come back to God and the divine intervention gets into place. "So break my life and take this rhyme I'm so sorry, but I do believe" These lines are so important to the revelation of the song because it shows that he is coming back and wants forgiveness for his doubting. He talks to God, giving his life away, and the rhyme will inspire many in the future |
