this song leaves me quite cluelessly. For me it´s about life having no worth when you are left with no hopes. And when you are in this state of mind; its time to commit suicide; "there is no poin in life when darkness breaks our brittle dreams...it must be tonight" But i donn´t really understand what Tyler wants to say regarding the old man and the young. I think he tells us we should neither life in the past, as the old man does, nor in the future.. |
