@[superbeast86:9913] I don't think she cheated on him. If you listen or read the lyrics of The End of This Chapter, you'll know that they broke up before this new guy stepped in the picture. And it's not like they had much choice either: "The promise they made / I should keep / To make sure that we will never meet". You have to remember that the son of Caleb, whatever his name is, had became an unstable criminal because he was abused as a child by Caleb. Lyrics of Caleb: "Flowers and people he now will enlace / Serving the will of the cold ...whatevergod". He probably did something really bad (Killed someone?) and got jailed ("promise" had to be enforced by the law), and meanwhile Juliet decided that she'll have no more of it and decided to build her life anew with someone else, but in the mind of the son of Caleb, she's still his and she wronged him. But in Juliet's mind it's too much to ask, even if she still has a spark of love left for him. In this song he has captured her, and is threatening her until the story reaches "Juliet". Caleb / The End of the Chapter / Don't Say A Word / Juliet is a brilliant series of songs indeed, and just like Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy. |
