@[Lesyeuxdeserpent:9889] yeah, I think the song has definitely got layers, seems to me like a complex expression of the drug thing, the whole script they went through with their former management and their egotistical demi god like power over the band, leading them into the delusion that they themselves were some kind of gods then betraying them and pulling the plug on them, seems to me that there is a constant allusion between the same themes that are sung about in the writ and their own mental state/ and drug binging, fight for power over the addiction. that's the way I see it anyway, amazing song. |
